NHD TIPS

Students,

I hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday weekend. As you continue to work on your NHD Assignments I would like for you to keep the following items in mind:

1st make sure that under Assignment #1 you have defined your 4 areas of interest keeping your essential questions in mind. Your four areas of interest should be cohesive and maintain flow throughout your paper. (For example, If you are focusing on Child Soldiers around the world your 4 areas of interest should be child soldiers in different places around the world, and you should remain focused on this)

2nd make sure that under Assignment # 2 you meet all of the requirements for choosing the sources required for your final product. Research what primary and secondary sources are of you do not remember this information from class. You must have source cards and you must have an Annotated Bibliography. Nobody turned in an ANNOTATED bibliography!!! This must be fixed before final product.

3rd your fifty note cards should be numbered according to your sources that they come from, not labeled but numbered, and you must have a Bibliography Page with the same information.

4th you must have a WELL DEVELOPED outline. Many students turned in a skeleton form of the outline and you will need to add in more information. The outline should be based upon both your areas of interest and the essential questions. The GUIDELINE is located on the WIX under Resources.

Then when you begin drafting your paper it should be about the overall topic of Child Soldiers and the subtopics of your areas of interest with a focus on the essential questions.

When you submit your final product you must turn in everything even if it has already been graded with the guideline page.
